CSW Far West is a new five-story multifamily community in Austin, Texas. The 555,716-SF development includes 315 apartments and is the first institutional-scale Class A community built west of MoPac in more than 20 years. Through Austin’s Vertical Mixed-Use density bonus program, 10% of the apartments will be set aside as income-restricted affordable housing. Project amenities include a resort-style pool, a pet spa, a conference room, and 6,000-SF of ground-floor retail.

TEAL provided a domestic hot water system for the project to provide residents with unlimited hot water and support the community’s sustainability and ESG goals. The system can lower residents’ utility bills by up to 43%, while reducing the building’s carbon footprint and eliminating waste. CSW Far West is expected to be complete in spring 2027.
