SkyGarden Apartments, one of the tallest buildings in the Charleston midtown district, is an 10-story, 400,000-SF student housing development located near the College of Charleston, South Carolina. Out of the 300 total units, the development includes 94 student apartments with indoor parking. SkyGarden was designed with a blue and turquoise aesthetic to highlight the brightness of the “sky,” as well as incorporated grey tile rugs to make the place feel welcoming. Students and residents can enjoy luxurious amenities, such as a 24-hour mail and package room, an elevated pool deck with a view, gated private parking and car storage, utilities included in the monthly rent, as well as have nearby access to the Lowline, a 1.7 mile linear city park inspired by the High Line in New York created for public green space, as well as safe bike and pedestrian pathways. A TEAL System was installed for ESG and green living measures to provide occupants with unlimited and on-demand domestic hot water.
