Estrella Seminary Apartments is a 2-story, low-rise residential development located in Fort Worth, Texas. The apartment building comprises 100 units featuring one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans. TEAL was selected by new owner, Texsun Holdings, to deploy a TEAL iPlant central system to deliver chilled water to the community’s residences. Estrella’s pre-existing central plant system was impacted by a large tree that fell onto the power lines in the winter of 2020. Due to immediate chilled water and hydronic heat residential needs, TEAL provided the apartment building with a brand new iPlant system with expedited shipping. Additionally, TEAL had rushed shipped a TEAL System for domestic hot water to use in the meantime. The TEAL iPlant will provide chilled water, unlimited domestic hot water, and hydronic heat while improving sustainability and ESG measures, a desirable differentiator for millennials in the renting market.
